My buddy, Joe, “told” me about this app via a Facebook post. It’s sounds pretty sweet and is definitely worth checking out. In short, Flipboard is a personalized social magazine for your iPad. The company promotes it as  ”a fast, beautiful way to flip through news, photos and updates your friends are sharing on Facebook and Twitter.” It’s a free download on the App Store.
I heard there were a few problems with the initial release. Some users were have trouble syncing with Facebook and Twitter. Also, there were a few problems with core functionality, such as the copy & paste feature. Bugs are always expected with the first release… Supposedly, they’ve got a lot of the kinks worked out. We shall see.
